Do you work only in New Smyrna Beach?

New Smyrna Beach is the home city. We also take roof-check requests in Port Orange, Edgewater, Daytona Beach, and Ormond Beach — the Volusia coastal strip where salt, wind, and the same storm set do most of the damage.

Is this a quote or a sales call?

Accepted Answer

You get a callback to understand the roof and, when it makes sense, an on-site look and a written estimate. There is no payment on this website and no checkout. If we are not the right fit (for example a high-rise association), we will say so.

How fast do you get back to me?

Accepted Answer

We aim to reply within one business day. Active leaks and storm damage go to the top of the list. If you attach a photo, the first reply is usually more specific.

Can you work with my insurance?

We can photograph and describe condition in writing so you have something clear for your carrier. We are not a public adjuster and we do not negotiate the claim. That keeps the inspection honest.

How long does a repair or replacement take?

A targeted leak repair is often a short visit once we know the entry point. A full reroof depends on squares, tile vs. shingle, and weather windows — we give a calendar range in writing after we see the roof, not a guess from a photo alone.

What does a coastal Florida roof actually fail from?

Accepted Answer

Salt eats metal. Wind lifts edges. Heat cooks shingle oil. Algae stains north slopes. Underlayment under tile quietly expires. Most “mystery leaks” are a boot, a valley, or flashing — not a random shingle in the middle of the field.

Do I need a new roof after a hurricane if I only lost a few shingles?

Not automatically. Creasing, widespread tab loss, broken tile, or wet decking is a different story than two shingles at a corner. That is why we look before anyone talks replacement.

Will you pressure-wash the roof?

Accepted Answer

No. High pressure strips granules and drives water under laps. If staining is the issue, we talk about a soft rinse and whether the field is already too far gone for cosmetics to matter.

What should I do while I wait?

Accepted Answer

Catch interior water with a bin, move furniture, and stay off a wet roof. If a tarp is already up and safe, leave it. Note when the stain grows — after wind-driven rain vs. a slow afternoon shower tells us a lot.
